Lindsay Morgan Lohan was born in New York City, New York, on 2nd July 1986, to Dina and Michael Lohan. Lohan made her acting debut in 1996 as Ali Fowler in the television drama "Another World" (1964). Lohan relocated permanently to Los Angeles between projects, and moved into an apartment with fellow actress Raven, after they met and became friends at a photo shoot for "Vanity Fair" magazine. She also dated pop star Aaron Carter for a short time. Lohan's next acting role was the title character in the film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004), a Disney adaptation of the popular book by Dyan Sheldon. Despite receiving scathing reviews upon its release, even the harshest of critics were impressed by Lohan's charming and flamboyant turn as aspiring actress Lola. Lohan's next project, Mean Girls (2004) will see her reunite with Freaky Friday (2003) director Mark S. Waters, playing Cady Heron, a worldly newcomer to an Illinois High School. She is also set to star in the films Dramarama (2005) , as a gifted drama student in a poverty-stricken family, and Gossip Girl (2005), as popular high schooler Blair Waldorf. In her spare time, Lohan enjoys gymnastics, swimming, ice skating, roller blading, singing, reading, writing, and playing with her siblings Aliana, Dakota and Michael.
